Nexus API
The Nexus API is a read-only GraphQL API for the torque data that Nexus captures from connected torque tools. Use it to pull torque results and their torque/angle traces into your own systems for analysis, quality records, and charting.
What you can query
| Query | Returns |
|---|---|
torqueResults | One row per torque result: final torque and angle, job/pset, tool and device, station, serial number, and when it was recorded. |
torqueResultsAggregate | A count of torque results matching a filter. |
torqueTraces | Torque/angle curve data, one row per bolt, linked to its result by resultId. |
Every torque result also exposes its curves directly through its traces field, so a single query can return results and their traces together.
All three queries support filtering (where), sorting (orderBy), and pagination (limit and offset). The API has queries only: no mutations or subscriptions.
Next steps
- Example queries: common patterns such as fetching recent results with their traces, filtering by serial number or station, and paging through large result sets.
- Data types and limits: how timestamps, numbers, and JSON values are represented, and the limits to design around.
- Reference: every query, type, field, and filter operator, generated from the schema.
How to call the API from a Nexus plugin will be documented here when plugin development is available.
You can also download the schema (GraphQL SDL) to generate a typed client or load it into your GraphQL tooling.
